Ruonala promoted to key role in Land Department

Mungo Homes announced that Katie Ruonala has been promoted to Land Planning and Acquisition Manager for the Columbia Division. Katie will the oversee community design, themes, amenities, and area research for upcoming communities as well as assist with land acquisition within the Columbia market.

According to Austin Monts, Director of Land Acquisition, “Katie’s enthusiasm and experienced eye for detail along with her overall knowledge of the Columbia Market will help her transition into her new role as she becomes another vital member of our Acquisition and Entitlement Team.”

A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Katie has held various roles within the Sales Department – most recently at the Field Sales Manager – since joining the Mungo Team in 2018.
