Ruth’s Chris Steak House names Kirk Watkins Greenville Area Manager

GREENVILLE, SC – Ruth’s Chris Steak House proudly announces the promotion of Kirk Watkins to Greenville Area Manager. In this new role, Watkins will serve as general manager for the new Ruth’s Chris Steak House Downtown Greenville in addition to overseeing the ongoing operations of Ruth’s Chris Steak House Greenville – 385 (in the Crowne Plaza at Roper Mountain Road) as well as the much anticipated UP on the Roof concept. Both the new Ruth’s Chris Downtown Greenville restaurant as well as UP on the Roof will be located at the Embassy Suites Greenville Downtown Riverplace, which is scheduled to open in Q3 of 2016.
Watson joined the Ruth’s Chris Steak House family in 2008 as a restaurant manager at the original Ruth’s Chris Greenville restaurant. From there, Watson was quickly promoted to general manager in 2009, where he has successfully led his team and grown sales ever since. Kirk also serves on the Board of the South Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association, Greater Greenville Chapter. Ruth’s Chris looks forward to sharing Watson’s passion for the hospitality industry, business acumen and inspiring leadership style with all of their Greenville area concepts as their business interests continue to grow in the Upstate.
