S.C. Bar Installs Quattlebaum as President-Elect

GREENVILLE, SC – May 20, 2010 – The S.C. Bar today installed A.Marvin Quattlebaum, Jr., managing partner in Nelson Mullins Riley &Scarborough  LLP’s Greenville office, as the 2010-2011 president-electof the S.C. Bar during the Bar’s House of Delegates meeting at The Zoneat Williams Brice Stadium. The Bar is the governing body for thepractice of law in the state of South Carolina. Mr. Quattlebaum willadvance to president for the 2011-2012 term.

Mr. Quattlebaum, a member of Nelson Mullins’ Management Group, practicesin the areas of business litigation, product liability litigation, andother complex civil litigation and regularly appears in jurisdictionsthroughout the Southeast. He has served on the South Carolina Bar Boardof Governors, currently serves in the House of Delegates of the SouthCarolina Bar, and has recently been elected to serve as Secretary of theBoard of Governors. He is also a member of the Society of Justice and aLife Fellow of the South Carolina Bar.

In 2009, the University of South Carolina honored Mr. Quattlebaum withits distinguished Compleat Lawyer award, which recognizes alumni foroutstanding civic and professional accomplishments.  He is listed in TheBest Lawyers in America, South Carolina Super Lawyers, and is a Fellowof the Litigation Counsel of America. He currently serves on the SouthCarolina Lottery Commission.
