S.C. Branded finalists announced
September 20, 2017The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce today announced finalists for S.C. Branded awards.
S.C. Branded is a partnership with Upstate S.C. marketing group The Brand Leader, to establish a new, statewide initiative and event celebrating South Carolina’s most recognizable brands.
An S.C. Branded awards celebration will be held on November 2, 2017, at 1208 Washington in downtown Columbia and will focus on companies, people and products that define South Carolina. The event includes 15 awards – called “Brandys” – presented to qualifying companies, products and people from across South Carolina who have become known for their brand’s meaning and impact on the state.
The S.C. Branded Selection Committee will choose winners in the following 10 categories: Arts Advocate, Brand on the Rise, Charitable Impact, Economic Development, Farm, Forest & Field, Health Initiative of the Year, Hometown S.C., Palmetto Green, Product Innovation and Woven & Worn.
Voters will be able to choose winners in the following four categories: Brewery of the Year, Destination, Iconic Sports Moment and Taste of the State.
Winners will be announced on November 2.
