Sadler Hughes Apothecary Giving Back to the Community

Each year Sadler Hughes Apothecary let’s their customers decide which charity they will contribute to. They have local charities on a list and customers put a check by the charity they would like to be selected. A drawing is then held with a young person who selects the winner for the percentage of the day’s profit, what day to base that on, and which charity or social organization is.
“As a locally owned community based pharmacy it gives us great joy to support various charities in the area,” said Walter Hughes III. “We look forward to this drawing and donation each year.”
This year the winner was the CHAMPS program at Presbyterian College. Last week, Susanne McCarley, program director for the CHAMPS program stopped by to pick up the check.
