SAFE Federal Credit Union awards over $27,000 in scholarships to high school seniors
June 24, 2024Eleven budding college freshmen are sharing more than $27,000 in scholarship awards from SAFE Federal Credit Union.
SAFE honored the high school seniors at a recent reception hosted at its Sumter headquarters. The students were recognized for their academic leadership, active participation in school activities, and service to their communities.
“SAFE Federal Credit Union and its Board of Directors are proud of these young individuals who have demonstrated excellence in their academics and beyond,” said President and CEO, Michael Baker. “SAFE is investing in the education of our future leaders and we look forward to all the great things these students will accomplish.”
The 2024 scholarship recipients and their selected schools are:
- Jennifer Boone – Wofford College
- Paige Felder – University of South Carolina
- Olivia Ritchie – Anderson University
- Allison Culick – Clemson University
- Graceanne Crumpton – Clemson University
- Macy Ahtonen – University of South Carolina, Sumter
- Emma Dusenbury – Clemson University
- Michael Walker – University of South Carolina
- Gabrielle Miller – University of South Carolina, Sumter
- Miles Farmer – University of South Carolina
- Shana Turner – University of South Carolina
