Safe Home 5K Run/Walk to End Domestic Violence Set for April 18 in Clinton
February 15, 2026Laurens County residents are invited to lace up their running shoes and take a stand against domestic violence at the Safe Home 5K Run/Walk to End Domestic Violence on Saturday, April 18, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Hosted at CrossFit864, located at 207 W. Pitts Street in Clinton, the event will bring together runners, walkers, families, and community supporters for a meaningful morning focused on awareness, advocacy, and hope.
Safe Home, which serves victims of domestic violence in Laurens County, works year-round to provide shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, and support services to individuals and families facing abuse. Proceeds from the event will directly support these life-saving programs.
Participants of all ages and fitness levels are encouraged to take part. Whether running competitively or walking in solidarity, every step helps raise awareness and funds to support survivors and prevent future violence.
The event also offers an opportunity for the community to come together, honor survivors, remember victims, and demonstrate that domestic violence has no place in Laurens County.
