Sage Automotive Interiors announces major expansion of Abbeville (SC) Plant, creating more jobs by 2028

Sage Automotive Interiors, one of the world’s leading providers of automotive interior materials, announced plans to renovate and expand the Sharon Plant in Abbeville, SC, resulting in the creation of 95 new jobs.

The expansion and renovation project will involve a total investment of approximately $10.45 million. These investments reflect SAGE Automotive’s ongoing commitment to remain a leader in the global automotive market. A portion of the funding for this endeavor was made possible from the South Carolina State Jobs Development Credit Program, the County Fee-in-Lieu and Special Source Revenue Credits.

The Sharon Plant is the premier supplier of woven automotive textiles, specializing in weaving, warping and fabric formation. Additionally, four miles away is the Abbeville plant, which specializes in premier automotive wovens, knits and the North American Dinamica® product line.
