This past Friday marked the highly anticipated opening of Sanitary Market located conveniently at 124 E Public Square in Laurens. The market welcomed a steady flow of customers in their first two days of business.
The brainchild of husband-and-wife duo, Ryland and Katy Culbertson, Sanitary Market aims to provide a one-stop destination for residents to access locally sourced produce, quality meats, freshly baked bread, and an array of other delectable treats without having to venture outside of Laurens County.
Owner Ryland Culbertson expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome from the community, stating, “We can’t thank our community for your continued support and kindness! Every smile and ‘we’re so glad you’re here’ made it worth all the hard work!”
The opening weekend was nothing short of spectacular, with customers exploring the market and discovering its diverse offerings. From organic produce to locally sourced meats, fresh baked bread, and mouthwatering blueberry scones, Sanitary Market was buzzing.
