Save the Date for the Annual Fill the Cruiser School Supply Drive!

School has just let out for the summer, and kids are diving into their summer groove, but now is the perfect time to start preparing for the upcoming school year with the annual Fill the Cruiser school supply drive! The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office is ready to kick off this essential event, and community support is needed to ensure every student has what they need to succeed.
Event Details:
- Date: Friday, July 12th
- Time: 9 AM to 2 PM
- Location: Chick-fil-A Laurens County
This year’s event will be held at the Chick-fil-A in Laurens County, which has graciously hosted this drive each year. Whether attendees stop in or drive through, their donations will make a significant impact on local students’ lives.

- Bookbags (Clear and Regular)
- Notebooks
- Packs of Paper
- Pencils/Erasers
- Sharpeners
- Folders
- Binders
- Graph Paper
- Glue
- Highlighters/Markers
- Crayons
- Colored Pencils
- Pens and Markers
Courtney Snow, Public Information Officer, expressed excitement for the event, saying, “Our community always comes through in a big way for Fill the Cruiser. It’s heartwarming to see how much we can achieve together, and we have no doubt that this year will be another success.”
All collected supplies will be distributed during the Sheriff’s Back to School Bash giveaway event on July 27th at the Courthouse. Sheriff Don Reynolds and the school resource officers always enjoy this event as it provides an opportunity to meet and connect with students before the school year starts.
