SC Collaboration Website Inspires Future Workforce

Through the ongoing efforts of the Laurens County Development Corporation (LCDC) to build and grow the workforce pipeline in Laurens County, they recently learned of a creative new platform to inspire students and others on their career journey.
The South Carolina Department of Commerce and South Carolina Council on Competitiveness have collaborated to create the Share Your Road community where SC professionals – across every industry and experience level – can share their unique career journey to inspire the next generation.
South Carolina has thousands of diverse career opportunities around the state, spanning every industry imaginable. LCDC is encouraging local employees to share about their career path here in Laurens County! We never know who may be inspired to make the jump into a particular industry just by hearing more about it first-hand.
The platform is easy to use and allows each user to share the steps taken to get where he or she is today, therefore helping others in the community find their way.
