SC Empowerment Centre Launches Summer Break Café Program

The South Carolina Empowerment Centre (SCEC) is recently announced the launch of its Summer Break Café program, designed to provide free, nutritious meals to children either pre-school age or K-12. The program will offer five days’ worth of breakfast and lunch, ensuring that children receive essential nourishment during the summer months.

Pickup sites for the meals are conveniently located at:

• FoodShare Laurens: 27894 Hwy 76 EAST, Clinton, SC 29325
  • Wednesdays, 9:00 – 10:30 am, starting June 5
• SCEC: 340 West Mill St, Gray Court, SC 29645
  • Thursdays, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, starting June 6

Due to limited supplies, registration is required. For more information and to register use the QR code in image below or call the SCEC Office at 864-705-0005. The SCEC is dedicated to supporting the community and ensuring that all children have access to healthy meals during their summer break.
