SC Green Industry Association Hosts Annual Conference & Trade Show

The South Carolina Green Industry Association will bring together over 100 exhibitors and 17 industry speakers to cover an extensive range of landscape topics during its annual two-day Conference and Trade Show held at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on January 24th and 25th.
The Trade Show and education seminars will run from 8:00am-5:00pm on January 24th and 8:00am-1:00pm on January 25th. College scholarships of $12,000 will also be awarded to students planning a future in the green industry.
Landscape industry professionals can choose from a variety of engaging presentations including weed control, pruning, fire ant management, and new plant varieties, technical classes on lighting and irrigation, and business classes focusing on team growth and overcoming resistance to selling green industry services. Keynote Speaker Marty Grunder with The Grow Group will open the Conference.
Attendees can earn continuing education credit hours for the following certifications: South Carolina Pesticide, North Carolina Pesticide, International Society of Arboriculture, North Carolina Irrigation, North Carolina Landscape Contractor, and American Society of Landscape Architect.
