SC Recognized as a Top 5 Fuel Cell State

April 28, 2010 – Fuel Cells 2000 in a new report, State of the States: Fuel Cells in America, provides a snapshot of fuel cell and hydrogen activity in the 50 states and District of Columbia.

South Carolina was chosen as a Top 5 Fuel Cell State among (in alphabetical order) California, Connecticut, New York, and Ohio.

South Carolina is recognized for its universities taking a collaborative approach, an aggressive economic development program, and activism in forklift demonstrations. EngenuitySC and the USC-Columbia Fuel Cell Collaborative are listed among some of the important elements that contribute to South Carolina’s success as a Top 5 Fuel Cell State.
