SC Restaurant and Lodging Association welcomes new communications manager
June 11, 2019The South Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association (SCRLA) recently welcomed Lenza Jolley as their new Communications Manager. Jolley will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications campaigns to increase awareness, value and membership of the SCRLA.
Prior to joining the SCRLA, Jolley served as communications manager for KeenanSuggs/HUB International, the 5th largest insurance brokerage in the world. With more than eight years of communications experience, Jolley has a demonstrated history of working in the insurance and nonprofit industries, including Farm Bureau Insurance and the United Way Association of South Carolina.
“We are fortunate and excited that Lenza has joined us and know her proven communications skills will assist us greatly in further strengthening our strategic communications with all audiences—especially our members, stakeholders and other tourism allies,” said John Durst, President and CEO of the SCRLA.
A native of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Jolley holds a degree in journalism from the University of South Carolina. She currently serves as the president of the American Advertising Federation of the Midlands (AAF); and also serves as the Time for Art Action Team Chair for Columbia Opportunity Resource (COR). Jolley is a 2017 graduate of the Riley Institute’s Diversity Leaders Initiative (Midlands X).
