SC Treasurer’s Office Names Unclaimed Property Director
April 28, 2015South Carolina Treasurer Curtis Loftis Jr. has appointed Dayle DeLong to serve as Senior Assistant State Treasurer. DeLong will oversee Palmetto Payback, South Carolina’s unclaimed property program.
DeLong joins the Treasurer’s Office after serving in several management positions with the S.C. Public Employee Benefit Authority for the past seven years. DeLong has nearly 20 years of management experience working in government and private sectors.
“Dayle’s extensive experience managing people, systems and resources make her the perfect addition to our team,” said Loftis. “We’re fortunate to have the right person come aboard to help us increase efficiency and capacity.”
DeLong graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in Office Administration and received her Certified Public Manager Credential in 2010. She is originally from Irmo, S.C. and has served on the board of the S.C. Society of Certified Public Managers.
