SC Treasurer’s Office Names Scott Lindenberg Public Information Director
October 3, 2014COLUMBIA, SC – Scott Lindenberg has joined the South Carolina Office of State Treasurer as public information director. Lindenberg will oversee strategic communications for the office including marketing and branding, media and public relations, publications, Web and social media, and internal communications.
Lindenberg joins the Treasurer’s office after serving as the director of student media at the University of South Carolina for the past 11 years. In this role, he served as general manager for the collegiate daily newspaper, quarterly magazine, and television and radio stations. Lindenberg also taught media writing courses at USC’s College of Mass Communications and Information Studies.
Lindenberg is originally from Virginia Beach, Va., and a graduate of Old Dominion University. He earned a Master of Mass Communication degree from the University of South Carolina in 2001.
