SCANA Announces the Closing of the Sale of Carolina Gas Transmission Corporation

CAYCE, SC – SCANA Corporation (NYSE: SCG) announced that it has closed the previously announced sale of Carolina Gas Transmission Corporation (CGT). Dominion paid the company approximately $490 million, which is subject to post-closing adjustments. As a result of the sale, SCANA is no longer engaged in FERC-regulated open access, transportation-only interstate pipeline operations.
