SCANA Corporation announces 6.5 Percent increase in common dividend

SCANA Corporation (NYSE: SCG) announced that its Board of Directors raised the quarterly cash dividend on the Company’s common stock to 61 ¼ cents per share from 57 ½ cents per share, an increase of 6.5 percent. This action increases the indicated annual dividend rate to $2.45 per share from $2.30 per share. The new dividend is payable April 1, 2017 to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 10, 2017. Additionally, the Board of Directors approved an increase to the upper band of SCANA’s dividend payout policy to 65% from 60%, for a new payout policy of 55% to 65%.
