ScanSource and McCracken Middle School Partner to honor memory of former leader at 31st Annual Milliken Earth Run

Special tribute planned for beloved wellness champion Blake Zemp at March 8th event
The Milliken Earth Run cross country 5k will take place Saturday, March 8th at the beautiful campus of the Roger Milliken Research and Customer Center (RMC) in Spartanburg, SC. This year, in partnership with ScanSource and McCracken Middle School, participants will have the opportunity to run in memory of former employee Blake Zemp, who was a valued leader at both organizations.
Throughout his career, Zemp held IT leadership roles at Milliken & Company, ScanSource and MCA before sharing his knowledge as a teacher at McCracken Middle School. With a passion for community and wellness, Blake was a big driver of the Greenville Track Club Corporate Shield races, encouraging many colleagues to race alongside him. Those who wish to recognize Zemp’s memory at the Milliken Earth Run will have the opportunity to wear a special commemorative sticker during the race.
Milliken encourages environmental stewardship with the event, while runners experience the mostly grass cross country course within the Milliken Arboretum. This is a Greenville Track Club (GTC) Corporate Shield event.
