SCATFACS elects LHS teachers to serve as president and president-elect

LEXINGTON, SC — Members of the South Carolina Association of Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences nominated and elected two Lexington High teachers to lead the organization.Elections were held in June during the 2015 South Carolina Education and Business Summit in Greenville, South Carolina. LHS Family and Consumer Science Teacher Jennifer O’Connell will serve as president for the 2015–2016 school year. LHS Family and Consumer Science Teacher Melissa Dowdy will serve as president-elect.
Both will assist family and consumer sciences educators across South Carolina.
