SCDOT Seeks Public Comment on the 2017 Federal Aid Pavement Improvement Program

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) is providing public notification of projects identified for the 2017 Federal Aid Pavement Improvement Program, which is comprised of the National Highway System (NHS) Statewide Program, and the Federal Aid Primary and Secondary Pavement Improvement Programs, prior to inclusion in the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP).
The projects listed in the program have been allotted $174,599,691 and will include the reconstruction and rehabilitation of a total of 424.58 miles of roads throughout the state.
A copy of this press release and a link to the 2017 Federal Aid Pavement Improvement Program documents, which provide a listing of the roads selected for resurfacing in each county along with location maps, are available for public review and comment online until December 22, 2016 at:
