SCHB Self Insurers Fund Now Accepting Student Scholarship Applications

CHARLESTON, SC – SCHB Self Insurers Fund is currently accepting college student scholarship applications for the 2015-2016 academic year. The organization will award five $1,000 scholarships to qualifying students. Recipients are chosen through a competitive selection process based on their academic achievements, community service, and extra-curricular activities. The Board of Trustees will hold an awards dinner honoring the selected recipients attended by their parents, sponsoring policyholders and policyholders’ agents in Columbia on July 15, 2015.

“On behalf of the SCHB Self Insurers Fund, representative insurance agents across the state and all policyholders, we are delighted to present college scholarships to deserving high school and college students,” stated Board Chairman, Herb Witter. “We look forward to recognizing a few of our state’s best students for their performance in the classroom, participation in extra-curricular activities and service within their communities.”
