Scout Motors Inc. (“Scout Motors”), formed to craft the next era of electrified rugged SUVs and trucks, is expanding its hiring efforts in South Carolina with a recruiting event in Greenville for specialized roles on Thursday, April 24. This marks the company’s third recruiting event in the state, following two successful hiring events in Columbia.

The event will take place in two sessions, but candidates are only required to attend one of the two sessions offered:

Session 1: 11 AM – 2 PM
Session 2: 3 PM – 6 PM

Scout Motors is specifically seeking individuals interested in careers in Launch Planning, Production Readiness Planning, Manufacturing Program Planning, Full-Scale Production Planning, Quality Engineering, and Logistics. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the company, meet with the recruiting team and production leaders, and participate in on-site interviews.

Candidates must express their interest in attending by April 17 by visiting https://bit.ly/ScoutGreenvilleRecruiting. Due to high demand, the Talent Acquisition Team will review submissions as they are received, and selected candidates will receive a personalized invitation to attend the recruiting event.

“With thousands of new, high-quality jobs coming to South Carolina, we remain committed to recruiting top local talent and creating meaningful career opportunities,” said Meredith Manz, Chief People Officer at Scout Motors. “This event will allow us to connect directly with skilled professionals in and around Greenville who are looking to build their future with us.”

Those who are not selected for this event are encouraged to stay connected. Beyond the roles that are specifically targeted for this event, Scout Motors is actively hiring for more than 100 jobs across various departments, more than half of which are based in South Carolina. Many more open positions will be posted in the months to come.

Current career opportunities can be found on the Scout Motors’ careers page at scoutmotors.com/careers. Potential candidates can indicate their interest in future manufacturing positions by submitting their information at scoutmotors.sctechjobs.com.

About Scout Motors

The Scout, originally produced by International Harvester from 1961-80, was the world’s first utility vehicle capable of both off-road adventure and family duty. It was the 8-day-a-week truck. The Scout brand is now an American icon whose heritage is kept alive by a dedicated community of doers who continue to push their vehicles on the farm, in the wilderness, and on family outings.

Scout Motors was formed to craft the next era of trucks and rugged SUVs rooted in the same tradition that made the original Scout vehicle an American icon. Scout Motors is revitalizing a legend and returning manufacturing to American shores.

Initial production is targeted to begin at the Scout Motors Production Center near Columbia, South Carolina, in 2027.
