SCPRSA announces 2020 Board of Directors

The members of the South Carolina chapter of the Public Relations Society of America recently appointed the organization’s Board of Directors for 2020. The Public Relations Society of America is the world’s largest organization for public relations practitioners. SCPRSA is the leading networking and professional development organization for PR and communications practioners in South Carolina.
The mission of SCPRSA and PRSA is to empower members to advance the practice of public relations through professional development opportunities, relationship building, awards competitions and career-supporting resources including on-demand and live webinars, online forums and research materials as well as and accreditation preparation and support.
“SCPRSA’s members enter 2020 with a new website, increased membership, four active student chapters in the state and a strong group of talented board volunteers already engaged in preparing awards, networking and development events in the South Carolina Lowcountry, Midlands and Upstate,” said Kim Keelor, 2019 SCPRSA president. “Together the chapter, about 200 members strong, plays a major role in creating, influencing and directing the communications strategies and narratives of businesses, governments, schools and universities, non-profit organizations and agency clients around the state.”
Energizing, creative events designed for practitioners of all levels of experience will be announced on the SCPRSA website and social media platforms throughout 2020.
