SCRA announces new Member Companies and grant funding

NeuroHope Therapeutics, Ortho-Dx, and Skilldora were accepted as South Carolina Research Authority Member Companies. Glossifi, Heartbeat Technologies, Parimer Scientific, and Secure Process Intelligence received new grant funding.
All SCRA Member Companies receive coaching, access to experts in SCRA’s Resource Partner Network, eligibility to apply for grant funding, and the potential to be considered for investment from SCRA’s investment affiliate, SC Launch Inc.
Glossi.fi Inc. received a $50,000 Federal Matching Grant. The West Columbia-based software development company builds a blockchain analytics service for Ethereum and is also building a protocol to improve security and user experience for digital assets on web3.
Heartbeat Technologies LLC received a $25,000 Academic Startup Grant. The Charleston-based startup is dedicated to improving cardiac arrest outcomes and developed a device called ‘The SAVER’, to better perfuse the heart and brain during emergency events.
NeuroHope Therapeutics, Inc. has been accepted as an SCRA Member Company. The Greenville-based life science company has developed an innovation that includes nanotechnology for combinatorial drug and gene delivery. The initial use is for the regeneration and repair of the central nervous system.
Ortho-Dx Inc. has been accepted as an SCRA Member Company. The Hilton Head Island-based life sciences company has developed a wireless sensor system to monitor the stability of surgically placed orthopedic implants utilizing near-field inductive technology.
Parimer Scientific, LLC received a $50,000 Acceleration Grant. The Easley-based company provides turn-key laboratory services at competitive rates to biotech and pharmaceutical companies with no upfront capital or long-term commitment needed.
Secure Process Intelligence LLC received a $50,000 Acceleration Grant. The Fort Mill-based information technology company provides Industry 4.0 solutions that optimize operations with a cloud dashboard.
Skilldora, Inc. has been accepted as an SCRA Member Company. The Fort Mill-based information technology company uses a unique method of interconnected AI generative applications, tools, and software combined with their designated accreditation status to produce professional online learning certification programs.
SCRA welcomes these new Member Companies and congratulates those that received funding.
Grant funding is made possible, in part, by the Industry Partnership Fund contributions that fuel the state’s innovation economy. Contributors to the IPF receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit, making it an easy and effective way to help one of the fastest-growing segments of the South Carolina economy. Grant funding for Member Companies creates a direct, positive economic effect and job creation.
