SCRA announces new member company and grant funding
March 8, 2023Case Studies was accepted as a South Carolina Research Authority Member Company. Sagacity Solutions and Secure Process Intelligence received new grant funding.
All SCRA Member Companies receive coaching, access to experts in SCRA’s Resource Partner Network, eligibility to apply for grant funding, and the potential to be considered for investment from SCRA’s investment affiliate, SC Launch Inc.
Case Status has been accepted as an SCRA Member Company. The North Charleston-based information technology company is a leading client service software for the legal industry. The software proactively sends client updates and communication, allowing staff to handle more cases and resolve cases faster.
Sagacity Solutions Inc. received a $25,000 Project Development Fund Grant. The Greenville-based startup developed a platform that helps venture capital firms request, collect, and analyze portfolio company performance, thereby freeing up team members’ time to make more informed decisions.
Secure Process Intelligence LLC received a $25,000 Project Development Fund Grant. The Fort Mill-based information technology company provides Industry 4.0 solutions that optimize operations with a cloud dashboard.
SCRA welcomes this new Member Company and congratulates those that received funding.
Grant funding is made possible, in part, by the Industry Partnership Fund (IPF) contributions that fuel the state’s innovation economy. Contributors to the IPF receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit, making it an easy and effective way to help one of the fastest-growing segments of the South Carolina economy. Grant funding for Member Companies creates a direct, positive economic effect and job creation.
