SUMMERVILLE, SC – SCRA Technology Ventures today announced that it will have several roles in this week’s DIG South event. Both SCRA representatives and SC Launch program companies are involved in the event that focuses on innovation and entrepreneurship. The annual event will take place this week in Mt. Pleasant.

Marty Ettlemyer, Vice President of Strategic Investments, will present as part of the Dark Side of the Deal panel that will discuss how to keep funds from making a company lose focus. SCRA’s SC Launch Senior Program Manager, Derek Willis, will moderate the Reverse Wild Pitch Fridayafternoon, where organizations will pitch to possible clients.

SC Launch companies PillFill, Moondog Animation and GWIG will be presenting during the conference as well.

“As we foster innovation and entrepreneurship in South Carolina, we are delighted to be a part of this nationally recognized event,” said SCRA CEO Bill Mahoney. “DIG South brings opportunities for both well-known business makers and thinkers, as well as those that are just starting out and thinking of a new venture. We look forward to leading and participating in the discussions that will take place this week.”
