SUMMERVILLE, SC – SCRA announced that they have received the official Certificate of Occupancy and have moved Charleston-area operations to the Applied Technologies Center at the Nexton Campus in Summerville, S.C. SCRA broke ground for the new 78,000 square foot facility last October.

SCRA has worked with Choate Construction as the general contractor and LS3P Associates, Ltd. as the architect for the new SCRA facility at Nexton. SCRA previously worked with Choate to build its award-winning SCRA Innovation Center in Charleston.

“We are excited to be in our new facility on the Nexton campus,” said SCRA CEO Bill Mahoney. “Many people have worked to make this building and this move a realization for SCRA, and we are delighted to embark on this new journey.”

Nexton is South Carolina’s first gigabit community, connected to the world through leading-edge technology. Amenities are a walk or bike ride away and businesses, shops, homes, restaurants and schools are connected by trails and parks.
