SeamonWhiteside expanding into Summerville

SeamonWhiteside (SW+) opened its doors more than 30 years ago in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina with a vision to be the leader in the state for landscape architecture and civil engineering. In 2002, SW+ added a second office in Greenville, and now is expanding its footprint into Summerville.
“We believe in supporting the communities where we work and live,” said Stuart Whiteside, Principal of SeamonWhiteside. “The Summerville area is growing, and we’d like to grow with it!”
SeamonWhiteside already has a history of working with businesses and partners in Summerville including, Westrock, Mungo Homes, Choate Construction, South Carolina Research Authority and Dorchester County. With its new office in the area, SW+ will explore additional opportunities to partner with clients in Summerville.
“With Summerville projected to have substantial growth over the next ten years, we are excited to officially welcome SeamonWhiteside’s team of talented landscape architects and civil engineers to our community,” said Rita Berry, President and CEO of the Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce.
The following three employees from the Mount Pleasant office will relocate to the new Summerville office, where there are plans to hire additional employees over the next three years.

- Chris Ackerman, Senior Project Manager
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held, in partnership with the Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce, on Thursday, November 10th at 4:30pm at the new office on 128 South Main Street, Summerville, South Carolina, 29483.
