Seasoned Research Analyst joins NP Strategy; Firm continues expansion of communications services
October 26, 2018NP Strategy, a strategic communications firm with offices in North and South Carolina, announced the addition of J. Bradley Studemeyer to its growing team. Studemeyer joins NP Strategy as a Project Analyst and will work out of the firm’s Columbia and Charlotte offices, assisting clients with community and issue analysis, strategic communications and research.
A native of the Columbia area, Studemeyer comes to NP Strategy via Washington, D.C., where he spent two years working with Dr. Bruce Cole, former Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities, at the Ethics and Public Policy Center. His work at the think tank included coordinating research on federal spending, contributing to articles that appeared in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, and analyzing shifting voting patterns for a bipartisan study of the 2016 presidential election. Following Dr. Cole’s sudden death in January of 2018, Studemeyer completed work on Cole’s last book, Art from the Swamp.
“I’m excited to begin working with NP Strategy’s clients and grateful for the opportunity to join this team of communications professionals,” said Studemeyer. “Working in this environment allows me to take the analytical skills I developed in Washington and put them to work for organizations in the Carolinas.”
Prior to working in Washington, Studemeyer earned a Master’s degree in Comparative Studies at Harvard University, concentrating on interactions between religion, public policy, law and business, and a Bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies from the University of South Carolina, where he graduated with honors from the South Carolina Honors College.
“We are thrilled to add J. Bradley’s research and analytical skills to the NP Strategy team,” said Heather Matthews, Director of NP Strategy. “Our clients look to us for sound, strategic guidance and extensive knowledge and analysis of the policies, communities and markets in which they work.”
Studemeyer is the fifth hire for NP Strategy since the beginning of 2018; the rapidly growing team includes former journalists, political staffers, PR agency executives, and communications professionals serving clients across North and South Carolina, and beyond, ranging from nonprofits to global corporations.
