Senate confirms Marvin Quattlebaum as a U.S. District Judge for South Carolina
March 1, 2018The U.S. Senate has confirmed Marvin Quattlebaum as a U.S. District Judge for South Carolina. His nomination was received into the Senate on August 8, 2017.
Marvin Quattlebaum is a partner in the Greenville office of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP. He serves on the Firm’s Executive Committee. Mr. Quattlebaum practices in the areas of product liability litigation, business litigation, and other complex civil litigation.
U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) made this statement on Marvin Quattlebaum’ confirmation:
“Marvin is one of the most qualified lawyers I’ve ever known. He has the perfect disposition to be a federal judge. He will serve South Carolina well in his new position.”
