September 24 Conference Shows How “Green” is Good for Business and the Environment

WHAT:
The Green is Good for Business Climate Protection Action Conference will be held at the Columbia Convention Center. There is a nominal fee for admission: $50 per person or three for $100, and $35 for students, community and neighborhood association members. The event features keynote speakers and money saving earth-friendly exhibits.
Exhibitors will offer information about renewable energy, green building and remodeling, lifestyle and recreation, waste reduction, food and agriculture, and transportation.
WHEN:
Monday, September 24, 2007 from 8 a.m. to 5:30 pm. The conference will adjourn at 3 p.m. and the doors will be open to the general public for a green building and remodeling presentation. Exhibits close at 5:30 p.m.
