Share the Warmth: Laurens County Public Library System Hosts Coat and Blanket Drive

As winter’s chill settles in, the Laurens County Public Library System is inviting the community to join hands in spreading warmth and compassion through their annual Coat and Blanket Drive. Running from December 1 to January 31, this initiative aims to provide comfort and warmth to those in need during the colder months.

The library system encourages residents to participate in this community innitiative by donating gently used coats and blankets. So, while you are cleaning out the closets, you can contribute to the cause of ensuring that everyone is warm this winter.

Donations can be dropped off at two convenient locations:

The library system emphasizes that the need extends beyond just coats. Other winter items, such as blankets, scarfs, mittens, gloves, and hats, are also welcome. The goal is to acquire a collection of warm essentials to help those in our community in need of such essentials.

Start that closet clean out and drop off your donations to the Laurens or Clinton location of the Laurens County Public Library.
