Sheriff’s Office Receives Tactical Response Gear

Last Fall the Buzz shared a story about a donation of customized medical kits for the Laurens County Sheriff’s office.
The Sawmill owner, Steve Brown worked with the founder of Cops Direct and Troops Direct and Tactical Medical Solutions (TacMed) in Anderson to start amassing a list of what these deputies need.
Last Thursday the medical gear was delivered to the Laurens County Sheriff’s office. In total, over $20,000 worth of needed gear was provided including individual officer first aid kits, mass casualty kits and spare components for both.
