Simpsonville Allstate Agent Hosting Paper Shredding Event

SIMPSONVILLE, SC – February 24, 2011 – An Identity Theft Shred Day, co-sponsored by the Tommy Meadows Allstate Insurance Agency and Shred A Way will be held on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Meadows’ office. The event is open to individuals who want to shred personal or business information. Representatives of Allstate and Shred A Way will be on hand to answer questions about protection from potential identity theft.
What: Free paper shredding event, co-sponsored by the Tommy Meadows Allstate Insurance Agency and Shred A Way
Where: Tommy Meadows office, located at 2700 Woodruff Road, #M, in Simpsonville.
When: Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Why: To teach citizens how to anticipate and protect themselves from potential identity theft, and offer them an opportunity to safely destroy unwanted papers that may include personal identification, social security numbers, bank or credit card information, or other personal information.
