Sam Konduros Reactivates SC-Based Consulting Firm 

Konduros Undertakes New Strategic Roles with Southeast Life Sciences, the United States Performance Center, and Good Growth Capital

SK Strategies LLC (SKS), the Greenville-based specialized consulting firm initially launched by South Carolina business leader Sam Konduros in 2004, has fully reactivated with a rapidly evolving client base primarily focused in the life sciences, healthcare and innovation arenas. 

Konduros, a leader in the life sciences industry, has previously served as Executive Director of the Greenville Health Research Development Corporation, President & CEO of SCBIO, and CEO of KOR Medical. 

Southeast Life Sciences (SLS).  Fueled by an extraordinary roster of board members representing industry, academia, business and economic development sectors from all across the Southeast US, the super-regional life sciences organization named Konduros Chief Executive officer effective June 1, 2022.  The multi-state industry organization strategically advances the life sciences sector with its primary mission to cultivate, convene, and connect the Southeast (US) entrepreneurial ecosystem to foster the public good, and to accelerate life science innovation & investment across the region. SLS’s signature annual investor conference (AdvanSE 2022) is scheduled for May 25-27 in Atlanta, GA, at the Avalon Hotel in Alpharetta.  Konduros will be introduced to stakeholders prior to the major pitch platform event, which showcases promising early-stage innovation companies and novel technologies emerging from across the 8-state region (FL, NC, SC, GA, TN, VA, AL, MS) to national caliber investors, academic leaders, and corporate executives from across the country.

United States Performance Center (USPC).  Headquartered in North Carolina, the USPC founders selected Konduros and SK Strategies to serve as a Strategic Business Partner to help fully develop and implement the firm’s strategic plan, as USPC moves forward with its vision to create the most advanced sports and human performance training complex in America, anchored by an innovative science-based sports and human performance laboratory that will be a hub for collaborative research with industry, university and healthcare partners.

Good Growth Capital. Headquartered in both Charleston, SC, and Boston, MA, Good Growth Capital (GGC) has named Konduros a Venture Advisor for its rapidly growing fund, recognized as the largest early-stage venture capital fund in the Palmetto State with a growing portfolio of over 40 companies from across the nation that the firm has invested in.

To assist with SK Strategies’ rapid expansion, Konduros tapped marketing, business and tech executive Jared Hartzell to serve as Senior Corporate Consultant.  Among other SKS roles and responsibilities, Hartzell will serve as Director of Marketing & Investor Relations for Southeast Life Sciences under Konduros’ leadership of that mission-based life sciences organization.  

SK Strategies is also in the process of assembling a team of high performing university interns as a core mission of its corporate culture to educate and mentor aspiring young executives through high-impact experiential opportunities in a complex business environment while also positioning those students to directly contribute to strategic initiatives.
