Smashburger Sizzles into Lexington on June 2; Grand Opening Day to Feature Free Burger Giveaway

LEXINGTON, SC – Smashburger restaurant opens in Lexington on Tuesday, June 2 with a free burger giveaway during the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Smashburger, the nation’s fastest growing “better burger” restaurant brings its fresh approach to burgers to Lexington when it opens its third location in the Columbia area, and fourth location in South Carolina, on Tuesday, June 2 at 5449 Sunset Boulevard, near the intersection with Old Cherokee Road and adjacent to the entrance to Golden Hills Country Club. Smashburger brings its juicy burgers that are smashed fresh, served delicious, along with its Haagen-Dazs ® shakes, tempting sides and regional menu items crafted to please locals’ palates.
On June 2, during the restaurant’s grand opening day, guests may receive a free Classic Smashburger ™ during the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. This offer is limited to one Classic burger per person and is only valid at the 5449 Sunset Boulevard location in Lexington. All other menu items will be available for purchase.
The Lexington Smashburger will feature a regional menu created with regional flavors and tastes in mind. The menu’s specialty item is the Carolina Chili Burger, which features American cheese, beefy chili, chopped yellow onion, Duke’s® Mayonnaise and coleslaw on a pretzel bun.

The Lexington restaurant will also serve a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including local beers, hand-spun Häagen-Dazs shakes and IBC® root-beer floats in frosted mugs.
