Smith Moore Leatherwood attorney Kate Laffitte listed in Greenville Business Magazine’s Best & Brightest 35 and Under

Smith Moore Leatherwood attorney Katherine Hendricks Laffitte has been selected to Greenville Business Magazine’s 2018 Best & Brightest 35 and Under. Laffitte is one of 37 young professionals recognized by the magazine this year.

The Best & Brightest program was created to honor Greenville’s young leaders for their professional and community contributions. Honorees are selected based on professional achievements, community service and educational backgrounds.

Laffitte is a member of Smith Moore Leatherwood’s real estate group. She focuses on commercial real estate transactions, representing lenders, property owners and developers in the acquisition, disposition, financing and refinancing of commercial properties. Separate from real estate, she also works with clients on issues surrounding creditors’ rights and bankruptcy.

Active in her community, Laffitte is a committee chair of the Circle of Hearts for the Julie Valentine Center and recently served as a member of the 2018 Hope Ball Committee for the Greenville Cancer Society. She was also a member of Leadership Greenville Class 44. Laffitte is a graduate of Wofford College and the Charleston School of Law.
