GREENVILLE, SC – October 7, 2009 – Greenville magazine has selected Smith Moore Leatherwood LLP attorney Jennifer Moorhead as one of “Greenville’s Best and Brightest Under 35.” The annual awards honor leaders 35 and under in the Greenville community.
According to Greenville magazine, the Best and Brightest awards recognize “individuals who not only have impressive careers, but humanitarian spirits that propel them into service.” For Moorhead, a Greenville native and member of Smith Moore Leatherwood’s real estate group, her community focus has resulted in successful volunteer work with organizations that include Hands on Greenville, the United Way and First Presbyterian Church of Greenville.
At Smith Moore Leatherwood, Moorhead devotes her practice to assisting clients with the sale and acquisition of real property, retail and mixed-use development, commercial leasing and tax-deferred exchanges. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, Greenville Chamber Real Estate Group and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Moorhead is a graduate of Furman University, where she currently serves as vice president of the Furman Young Alumni Council, and the University of South Carolina School of Law.
