GREENVILLE, SC – Smith Moore Leatherwood Partner Steve Farrar has been selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA), which recognizes the country’s top trial attorneys.
The LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only. Farrar is a trial lawyer and partner in the firm’s Greenville office. His practice focuses on complex legal issues, including complicated business litigation, professional liability defense and major products liability issues. Farrar is Secretary-Treasurer of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC) and will serve as President of the Federation in 2015. He is named to the “Top 10” list of 2014 South Carolina Super Lawyers® and was named in Woodward/White’s 2010 listing of the Best Lawyers in America in four practice areas including “Bet The Company Litigation.” He is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the University of Richmond School of Law.
