Snowflakes Indoors: A Frosty STEM Adventure at Your Local Library!

January 16, 2024

Winter enthusiasts are in for a chilly treat as the Clinton Library gears up for a unique event on January 23 at 4 pm. If you’re yearning for snow but the weather isn’t cooperating, here’s your chance to experience the magic at your local library.

The Clinton Library invites children ages 6-10, along with their parents and guardians, to join in on a one-hour STEM project that promises to bring the joy of snow indoors. On January 23, participants will have the opportunity to create their own ice-like snowflakes. The process involves dipping the designed snowflakes in a special magic water, where crystalline structures will form before your eyes, mimicking the beauty of natural snowflakes.

But the frosty fun doesn’t stop there! For those who can’t make it on the 23rd, the Laurens Library will host the same program on January 29, also at 4 pm. Attend both events and immerse yourself in a blizzard of creativity and excitement.

What’s even better? This program is free and open to the public. So, head over to the Clinton Library on January 23 and the Laurens Library on January 29 to embrace the magic of snowflakes in a cozy, indoor setting.

See you at the library for a snow-filled adventure!
