Soda City FC vs Sparta 20/20 FC – October 20

Soda City FC (“SCFC”) has begun its inaugural season in the United Premier Soccer League (“UPSL”). Following Soda City‘s 4-2 win over previously unbeaten Savannah Clovers, SCFC sits alone at the top of the Mid-Atlantic South division, ahead of a key matchup with Sparta 20/20 FC!
In the lone home matchup of the two Palmetto State representatives, Soda City & Sparta 20/20 will clash on Saturday, October 20th at 7PM at Palmetto Health Fields at Saluda Shoals Park (6071 St. Andrews Rd. Columbia, SC 29212). Matches kickoff at 7:00 pm and gates open at 6:00 pm.
Saturday’s match will mark the club’s first Breast Cancer Awareness Match, highlighted by limited-edition Pink Soda City FC shirts!
The shirts, donning the club crest and pink ribbons incorporated into the font, are $20 each and available in both Men’s and Ladies’ cuts. A portion of all shirt sales will go to the South Carolina Cancer Alliance, which in its 15th year of operation, is dedicated to the prevention and early detection of cancer, as well as improving the treatment of those affected by this disease.
Shirts will be available on Thursday, October 18th, from 6-8PM at River Rat Brewery on Shop Road, as well as on Friday at the Palmetto Health Fields from 5-7PM. Limited quantities are available so make sure to stop by and grab yours!
Additionally, on Saturday at the match, the first 200 kids through the gate will receive a free replica Soda City t-shirt, compliments of title sponsor Gateway Supply Company! Gates open at 6PM, so get there early to grab a shirt and enjoy all of our matchday festivities!

Founded in 2018, SCFC can participate in the qualifying rounds for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup through their affiliation and membership with the UPSL, the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).
