Soda City Market to bring its second annual OktoberFest to Main

Eins, Zwei, Drei: Bring on the Beer and Schnitzel

COLUMBIA, SC – Soda City Market has announced that it will hold its annual Soda City OktoberFest on Saturday, October 31 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on the 1400-1500 block of Main Street in downtown Columbia.

With the success of the event in the opening year, OktoberFest will once again serve as an event to ring in the fall weather and celebrate the abundance of craft beer and wonderful German food vendors that the city has to offer.

“OktoberFest is Soda City’s largest and best fest, said Soda City founder Emile DeFelice. Come out and dance a jig with us!”

Columbia’s very own traditional German band, Die Lustigen Musikanten will once again be returning as the musical addition to the festival.

Along with the establishment of the festival, the regular Soda City market activity will still be in operation as normal. OktoberFest attendees will be able to enjoy beer from local South Carolina breweries along with traditional Bavarian Oktoberfest dishes from The Wurst Wagen.

Updates from the event will be regularly posted to all Soda City social media outlets.
