SOL Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar raises $2,991 for The Green Heart Project through recent Kitchen Karma
September 6, 2018
SOL Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar in Mount Pleasant, Summerville and Downtown Charleston presented a check of $2,991 to local nonprofit organization, The Green Heart Project. This donation was a result of SOL’s Kitchen Karma program, where the restaurants partner with a local charity for 6 weeks and donate $1 of every featured item sold to those charities.
Throughout May and June, the three area SOL locations partnered with The Green Heart Project. The Green Heart Project builds garden-based experiential learning projects and school garden programs to help educate students, connect people and cultivate community through the growing, eating and celebrating of food.
Since its inception in 2015, SOL’s Kitchen Karma program has raised more than $58,000 to local charities.
All three SOL locations are open Monday–Saturday at 11am and Sunday at 10am serving lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch. For more information about SOL Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar and their Kitchen Karma program, please visit SolSouthwestKitchen.com.
