South Carolina 2014 Notable Documents Announced

COLUMBIA, SC – The South Carolina State Library is pleased to announce the selection of the most notable South Carolina state government documents of 2014. The event will mark the 25th anniversary of the Library’s Notable Documents Awards program.

Screen Shot 2015-05-18 at 2.33.47 PMAwards will be presented to the winning agencies and authors on May 20 at 10:00 a.m. at the South Carolina State Library in Columbia.

According to South Carolina State Library Interim Director, Leesa Benggio, “South Carolina state documents provide a wealth of information, statistics, and share a broad range of knowledge about our state.  I am pleased that we are able to publicly recognize these important publications and websites as notable documents and it is my hope that all South Carolina state agencies continue to produce high quality documents such as these.”

Winning documents were selected by judges, including State Library staff members, document librarians from around the state, and state employee representatives. Photos of the ceremony are available at the library’s Facebook page and Flickr account.
