South Carolina Business Hall of Fame announce 2020 inductees

Junior Achievement of Greater South Carolina announced the names of three outstanding business leaders who will be inducted into the South Carolina Business Hall of Fame in 2020:

  • Mr. Frank Brumley Chairman & CEO of the Daniel Island Development Company of Charleston;
  • Mr. Rick Pennell, President & CEO of Metromont Corporation of Greenville; and
  • Ms. Marva Smalls, EVP, Global Head of Inclusion Strategy for Viacom and the EVP of Public Affairs and Chief of Staff for Nickelodeon.

These award winners, called Laureates, are champions of free enterprise and can be viewed as role models in business for the youth of the Palmetto state. They were chosen for their unique contributions to South Carolina’s business landscape, for being an agent of positive change, for their leadership, and for being a source of inspiration to the leaders of tomorrow.

A black-tie event honoring these Laureates will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 6:00pm the University of South Carolina Alumni Center.
