South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families Announces Communications Manager

COLUMBIA, SC – February 25, 2010 – The South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families is pleased to announce Allison Cowherd as communications manager, effective January 1, 2010.
Cowherd joined the Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina in 2007 as project coordinator. In her new role, she will be responsible for increasing the visibility and understanding of the work of the South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families, local fatherhood programs and the overall South Carolina Fatherhood Initiative. She will handle all internal and external communications, public relations and events.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of South Carolina. She resides in Columbia with her husband, Jon, and their son, Parker.
