South Carolina Children’s Theatre welcomes two new Board Members
November 14, 2023South Carolina Children’s Theatre (SCCT) announced the addition of two dynamic individuals, Karen Dudley-Culbreath and Andrew Shull, to its esteemed Board of Directors. Their extensive experience and commitment to community service make them valuable additions to the SCCT family.
Karen Dudley-Culbreath, the Executive Director of The Period Project, brings a wealth of knowledge in nonprofit leadership. Additionally, Karen is the Founder of HR Concierge Consulting, LLC, showcasing her dedication to fostering positive workplace environments.
Andrew Shull, serving as the Commercial Loan Operations Manager at United Community Bank, brings a strong background in banking and finance to the SCCT Board.
SCCT Board President Courtney Atkinson expressed her excitement about the new additions, stating, “I am thrilled to welcome Karen and Andrew to the Board of Directors at SCCT. Their expertise and enthusiasm for this vibrant organization will be a wonderful asset to our board as we work toward bringing transformative theatre experiences to every young person and family in the Upstate of South Carolina.”

In addition to the exciting news about the new board members, SCCT invites the community to immerse themselves in the magic of theatre with the upcoming production of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins from November 17 to December 10. This timeless tale promises to captivate audiences of all ages with its whimsical storytelling and memorable musical numbers. And, for those with kids curious about theatre, SCCT offers Winter Classes for ages 2-18 from January 8 to February 9. These classes allow young aspiring actors and theatre enthusiasts to develop their skills under the guidance of experienced instructors.
