The South Carolina Governor’s School for Science & Mathematics (GSSM) has once again been ranked the #1 Best Public High School in South Carolina by Niche, a leading platform for school and college rankings and reviews. In addition to this top honor, GSSM was also ranked:
- #1 Best Public High School Teachers in South Carolina
- #1 Best College Prep Public High School in South Carolina
- #8 Best Public High School in America
These accolades reflect GSSM’s commitment to providing students across the state with top-tier education, fostering academic excellence, and preparing them for success in higher education and beyond.
GSSM President and Class of 1990 graduate Danny Dorsel said, “As our amazing faculty and staff continue to seek out and serve the most talented and motivated students in South Carolina, it is humbling to be recognized for our efforts.
